Quilts and Wall-hangings

 

It all started with a ceremonial wedding quilt that I made for my wedding in 2006.  I asked all the guests to send in a trinket — button, bauble, bead — that had some meaning to them.  When I sewed them all together into a quilt (with a booklet listing all the corresponding stories), it came to represent how all of our lives were coming together in the marriage.  

 

Other wedding ideas include decorative wall-hangings, family trees (with everybody’s face on a fabric button), t-shirt quilts, and bed and throw-quilts. No two are alike; every one is custom made.  You can see samples of all these items in the slideshow below.
